Rabbi Jeffrey Salkin – Nov 30 – Dec 1

On the Shabbat of Friday Nov. 30 and Saturday Dec. 1, we will welcome a Scholar in Residence, Rabbi Jeffrey Salkin.

During the Friday Erev Shabbat services on November 30, Rabbi Salkin will be speaking on the topic: Judaism Beyond Slogans.

During the Saturday morning services, December 1, he will be speaking on the topic: The Gods Are Broken.

Saturday Noon: Putting God on the Guest List, with B’nai Mitzvah kids and parents (Grades 6-7).

And on Saturday Havdalah service at 7:00 PM: Fixing the Broken Halleluyah: Judaism in the songs of Leonard Cohen.
